« The great Twitter experiment of ‘08 | Main | Dem Debate Liveblogging »

Housekeeping

By Ned | February 1, 2008

I removed the Twitter sidebar - the end result of which will probably be more short, snappy blog posts in the main blog.

I’ve also finally gotten around to adding a few additional links to the blogroll. Hullabaloo and Fanatical Apathy are both excellent blogs that I’ve been reading for a while and I have no idea why they weren’t on there before. The Washington Independent, as I’m sure many of you already know, is a newfangled online-only publication that looks like a left-leaning, far less annoying Politico. And Muckraker alumni Spencer Ackerman and Laura McGann are on staff, which is cool.

On the more local level, I’ve been trying to get more involved in NYU and New York state politics, so I also added The Albany Project and the official blog of the NYU Dems.

And speaking of the NYU Dems, they’re hosting a debate watching party in about an hour. So I’ll probably be liveblogging the debate from there.

Now that it’s so close and down to two people, there’s no question that it’s going to be really ugly tonight. Since combining America’s two favorite fake sports, wrestling and politics, seems to be popular this week, you can insert your own joke here about hoping that nobody tosses Clinton a metal folding chair to use on Obama.

Oh, and one more thing. This is a message for American Prospect contributor Matthew Duss:

Straighttalk McSurge? That’s absolutely brilliant. Is it okay if I use that?
